Unaddressed Warp Speed documentation
Reviewed on 1 October 2026 against 2026-09-25-php-node-ui-comparison.md and the current Warp Speed documentation in this repository. The comparison records browser observations from 25 September 2026; it does not establish today’s feature availability or successful completion of untested operations.
All items below remain open. Update their status as work is verified and published, with a link to the resolving patch. Changes apply to Warp Speed documentation; Classic remains unchanged.
Missing or incomplete explanations
Section titled “Missing or incomplete explanations”| Area | Outstanding work | Destination | Evidence |
|---|---|---|---|
| Inspection upload | Explain Allow Duplicate Upload, Copy log to clipboard, and Save log as text file, including when saving a log is unavailable. Verify duplicate-handling behaviour before describing its effects. | Inspections and Upload inspection results | Comparison §11.2. |
| Grid Layout | Explain each save, load, and clear command separately. Distinguish one grid from all grids, account storage from browser storage, and verify any project-specific scope. | Configure and save grid layouts | Comparison §5.4 and §15.5; existing references summarise the menu. |
| Preferences | Cover Document Viewer, Grid Settings, rows per server request, the reload requirement, loading account layouts after login, and save/load-all controls. Distinguish rows per request from page size. Explain Profile, Security, and Active Sessions navigation and their buttons. | A current preferences reference, linked from Accounts Page. | Comparison §15.1–15.5. |
| IQS and Dynamic Priority | Expand the brief IQS entry with the purpose of its selector and grid. Explain ADP Overview, Strategy Editor, Strategy Editor (JSON), Label Editor, Dynamic Custom Value, Tester - Live, and Tester - Draft. Verify audience, permissions, and availability. | Project Dashboard Interface and dedicated references where needed. | Comparison §11.3. |
| Associated Equipment | Expand Search/Replace and Copy/Move beyond their entry-point descriptions. Verify what clicking Linked_items opens and identify the row-menu commands. Split Archive and Delete into separate explanations. | Associated Equipment | Comparison §8; current page leaves dialog details unverified. |
| Documents | Explain Remove field and identify the exact row-menu commands. Give each viewing and record-state control its own explanation. Explain the category-filter help and collapse controls after checking their labels. | Documents | Comparison §9.1–9.3. |
| Appearance and global menu | Explain the reported System, Light, Dark, and theme choices, and the purpose of Version Info. Verify current labels and whether Beta labels still apply. | Project Dashboard Interface and the relevant account/global-menu reference. | Comparison §16.1 and §16.3. |
Older instructions requiring reconciliation
Section titled “Older instructions requiring reconciliation”These pages contain instructions that differ from the dated comparison. Check the current interface before replacing routes or declaring a feature available or unavailable.
| Area | Outstanding work | Affected guidance | Evidence |
|---|---|---|---|
| Project management | Replace the older floating Project Window and tab route with the verified management-page navigation. Cover Details and its collapsible field groups; verify Settings, Personnel, and the Data destinations. | Project Window | Comparison §12: dedicated management page; Settings disabled and Personnel marked coming soon in the inspected session. |
| Backup and restore | Reconcile the older BACKUP-tab procedure with the reported placeholder pages. Resolve references that instruct users to create a backup before importing; do not invent a working route. | Backing up projects, Project Window, and Importing data | Comparison §13.5; import guidance already states that Legacy Import creates no pre-upload backup. |
| Members and Managers | Verify the current consolidated Members menu, then explain Refresh, Add, Set Role, and Remove. Reconcile older separate Managers instructions and the claim that Members lists every project user. | Members and Managers | Comparison §14.1–14.2; the inspected member population differed from Classic. |
| Account Resources | Verify the current navigation route before retaining instructions to use the older account-toolbar entry. Keep project AE and Documents distinct from account-wide resources. | Account Resources | Comparison §14.3: an equivalent entry was not found; absence was not established. |
| Downloads | Check template, example-package, installer, and APK destinations before relying on them in instructions. | Importing data and Install the Inspection App | Comparison §16.2: placeholder versions and direct-download links in the inspected session. |
| Inspection results | Reconcile N versus NC wording and the claim that the D column reliably reflects new findings. Check History behaviour rather than assuming every import appears there. | Inspections and Upload inspection results | Current pages use differing finding terminology; comparison §6.5 observed blank D/A counters and §7.6 an empty History view. |
Record controls requiring interface verification
Section titled “Record controls requiring interface verification”| Interface | What remains unverified |
|---|---|
| Associated Equipment Window | Exact section menu, item-specific editing/save controls, and available related-record controls. The comparison inspected the AE grid rather than a complete Window inventory. |
| Document Window | Exact field labels, section menu, and item-specific buttons. Project-document menus do not establish this Window’s complete inventory. |
| Defects | Historical numeric priority meanings (the grid contains 0 while Update offers named choices), empty-value updates, mixed Open/Closed selections, exact audit-field semantics, and editable grid cells. Grid column labels, active green indicators, record switching, Update field controls, and View Defect’s separate overview tab were inspected on 1 October 2026. |
| Defect Window | Open-state buttons, individual editing controls, and History controls. The comparison confirms Re-Open on a closed defect. |
| Actions | Historical numeric priority meanings, exact audit/document field semantics, empty-value updates, and mixed Open/Closed selections. Grid labels, the active indicator, View Action’s separate overview tab, and Update field controls were inspected on 1 October 2026. |
| Action Window | Exact priority/comment submission buttons, History availability, and decisions for action types other than ICS Equipment Update. Apply/Ignore ICS Changes are covered; other types need inspection. |
| Equipment Window | Exact target scope of Remove/Bulk Remove and Unlink/Bulk Unlink, plus selection requirements for related Defect/Action commands. |
Reference-page completion criteria
Section titled “Reference-page completion criteria”Use the Draft 01 approach with content specific to each view: Equipment, Associated Equipment, Documents, Defects, and Actions. Check the finished inventory against the actual interface.
- Give every button and menu command at least one plain explanation of what it does; split controls with different effects into separate entries.
- State whether the target is the displayed record, checked rows, all filtered rows, or the whole project.
- Explain whether the control opens a menu, docked panel, dialog, viewer, or browser tab.
- Explain disabled controls, selection requirements, permissions, and record-state differences where verified.
- Include dialog field controls, review/confirmation buttons, cancel/close controls, recovery commands, and shared grid commands.
- Retain a brief explanation of shared controls on each view page, with links for longer procedures.
- Record unverified behaviour as pending work rather than copying Classic behaviour into Warp Speed.
